Overview:
Aggregate Producer is seeking a Sales Engineer to produce sales of steel wear parts used in industrial machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Grow business pipeline at established accounts within your region.
- Identify new customers in your region, generate leads and understand the machinery and equipment at each site.
- Understand competitor products and is expert on market share of assigned region.
- Provide product, service and/or technical information to customers by answering questions and requests.
- Submit orders by email or phone, with a high degree of accuracy on all part numbers and alloys.
- Help determine pricing for RFQs, bids, and contracts.
- Maintain client records and order history.
- Remain attuned to the evolving industry landscape, proactively identifying opportunities and challenges allowing you to refine your approach accordingly.
- Books and pays for travel and all business expenses.
- Submits a monthly Customer Summary Report.
- Complies with all customer MSHA safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- 2+ years experience in industrial sales, preferably in the aggregate/mining/or metal recycling industry.
- Experience selling as a 1099 contractor.
- Ability to travel.
- MS Office (Excel, Teams, Word) required.
